Guangdong’s export sees slight increase in H1 of 2016

In the first half of 2016, total imports and exports volume in Guangdong reached 281 million Yuan, down 0.9% compared to the same period of last year, accounting for 25.2% of the national total. The total value of exports reached 1.78 trillion Yuan, up 0.5%,while imports reached 1.03 trillion Yuan, down 3.1%.

Export in Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhuhai and Zhongshan continued to grow in the first half of this year.

Import and export in 11 cities of Guangdong continued to grow in H1. The total value of Foshan hit 192.27 billion Yuan, up 13.6%, of Zhuhai 131.82 billion Yuan up 0.1%.

Conversely, the total value of Shenzhen reached 1187.54 billion Yuan, of Dongguan 464.8 billion Yuan, of Guangzhou 389.48 billion Yuan and of Huizhou 132.47 billion Yuan, dropped 1.5%, 0.8%, 0.6% and 16.4% respectively. Zhongshan remained the same.
